Shipping and Delivery Policy
This Shipping and Delivery Policy ("Policy") sets out the terms and conditions governing the shipping and delivery of products purchased from the online store operated as "Alaya" and hosted on the Shopify platform ("Store"), owned and operated by JSS Worldwide Trade Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us" or "our"). This Policy shall be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. By placing an order on the Store, the User agrees to be bound by this Policy.
1. Serviceable Locations
1.1 We currently ship products only within the territory of India to locations serviceable by our logistics and courier partners.
1.2 The availability of delivery to a particular pin code is subject to the service capabilities of our logistics partners and may change from time to time. The User is advised to check pin code serviceability on the Store during checkout.
2. Order Processing and Dispatch Timelines
2.1 Order Processing: All orders are processed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Once dispatched, the estimated delivery time for your order is 3 to 6 business days. Please note that delivery times may occasionally vary depending on your specific location or unforeseen courier delays.
2.2 Processing and dispatch timelines are indicative and may be subject to change due to factors including but not limited to stock availability, order volume, holidays, and operational constraints.
2.3 In the event of any undue delay in processing or dispatching an order, we may, but are not obliged to, notify the User by email, SMS or such other communication channel as we consider appropriate.
2.4 How do I check the status of my order? When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven't received your order within 7 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at customersupport@alayadecor.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you
3. Delivery Timelines
3.1 Estimated delivery timelines shall be displayed at the time of checkout based on the User's pin code. Such timelines are indicative estimates only and are not guaranteed.
3.2 Actual delivery time may vary depending on the destination, courier partner, logistics issues, force majeure events, and other factors beyond our reasonable control.
3.3 The User acknowledges that delays may occur and agrees that such delays, when caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, shall not constitute a breach of our obligations.
4. Shipping Charges
4.1 Shipping is FREE, but if applicable, shall be displayed at the time of checkout and may vary based on factors such as order value, weight, dimensions, and destination.
4.2 From time to time, we may offer free or discounted shipping as part of promotional offers, subject to such terms and conditions as may be specified on the Store.
5. Delivery Attempts and Non-Delivery
5.1 Our courier or logistics partners will make reasonable attempts to deliver the order to the shipping address provided by the User.
5.2 It is the User's responsibility to ensure that the shipping address, contact number and other details provided at the time of placing the order are accurate and complete. We shall not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries arising from inaccurate or incomplete details, or the User's unavailability.
5.3 In the event that a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to the User's unavailability or refusal to accept delivery, the shipment may be returned to us. We may, at our discretion, attempt redelivery subject to payment of additional shipping charges, or cancel the order and process a refund net of shipping, logistics and handling charges, if any, as per applicable policies.
6. Risk of Loss and Title
6.1 Risk of loss or damage to the products shall pass to the User upon delivery of the products to the shipping address provided by the User, as evidenced by the records of the courier or logistics partner.
6.2 Title to the products shall pass to the User upon full payment of the purchase price and delivery of the products to the shipping address.
7. Inspection upon Delivery
7.1 The User is strongly advised to carefully inspect the condition of the outer packaging and the products at the time of delivery.
7.2 In case of any visible damage to the outer packaging or to the products, the User should, wherever possible, note the same on the delivery acknowledgement provided by the courier and immediately contact us in accordance with our Returns and Refund Policy.
